2 Corinthians 9:8 — God has power to shower all kinds of blessings upon you, so that, having, under all circumstances and in all occasions, all that you can need, you may be able to shower all kinds of benefits on others (20th CR).
At the end of May 2017, our family traveled to Yosemite National Park—what a glorious and beautiful sight it is! Once inside the park, we quickly made a short hike straight to the base of the iconic upper and lower Yosemite Falls. We joined a crowd of people and let the water from the falls mist and splash our faces. It was exhilarating!
As we stood there, I began to think about the source of this amazing experience—snow accumulation from the recent winter months. If the snow had not fallen, the falls would not have flowed so liberally. In fact, I overheard a park ranger tell a guided tour that it was the greatest flow and supply of water he had seen come over the falls in over twenty years!
This flow reminded me of our heavenly Father, who loves to amply supply all of our needs. God has an accumulation, a mass quantity, gathered that He has reserved to pour out in abundance over your life. He wants to bless you so much that not only your every need is met, but also the needs of those connected to you. Glory!
Philippians 4:19 — And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (AMP).
