Ephesians 2:7 — So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of His grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all He has done for us who are united with Christ (NLT).
You can either stand out in Christ or blend in out of Him. God’s desire is to use you to demonstrate the immeasurable, limitless, and surpassing riches of His unmerited favor. There is a wealth of grace and kindness that He wants to bestow on you in a way that’s profoundly noticeable.
Your life is meant to be a shining example of God’s goodness and mercy. Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10, KJV). God doesn’t want to point at someone who has been sucking on lemons and drinking from a half-empty glass as a model of His grace.
Paul said, “I know that when I come to you, I will come in the full measure of the blessing of Christ” (Romans 5:29, NIV). He had a humble confidence in Christ, and you can too. God desires to perform on the stage of your life for all to see. Lease Him your theater.
