Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (NKJV).
Paul was talking about being able to do anything God had called him to do. In the verses leading up to this one, he said he had learned to be content in whatever circumstance, whether he had plenty or little, was well fed or hungry, happy or sad.
God has given us everything we need for life (2 Peter 1:3). He has already provided the means and a way for us to do whatever He has called us to do. We must walk by faith and acknowledge that we have everything we need to do His perfect will through Christ’s strength.
Rather than focus on what we think we can’t do, we must begin to focus on and declare what God says we can do–all things through Him! If God brought you to it, He has equipped and empowered you to walk through it victoriously.
When you act in obedience, He performs supernaturally on your behalf. Instead of saying, “I can’t,” say, “I can because of the power of God working on the inside of me!”
Hebrews 13:21 – May He equip you with all you need for doing His will (NLT).
